Position Overview :
The Property Manager will be responsible for the full operational oversight of an affordable housing property, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, and resident satisfaction. This role requires an experienced, service-driven leader who can manage a diverse team, support compliance initiatives, and uphold the company’s high standards of property care and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities Include :

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property, including leasing, income certifications, and resident relations
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and local housing regulations
• Supervise and support on-site staff to ensure performance and alignment with company standards
• Prepare monthly financial reports and contribute to budget planning
• Maintain the appearance, safety, and market readiness of the property and all units
• Resolve resident concerns and maintain a strong sense of community
• Oversee work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance schedules
• Monitor delinquent accounts and coordinate eviction processes as needed
• Liaise with vendors and contractors; obtain bids and ensure project completion

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in affordable housing property management
• Solid knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience supervising staff in a multifamily housing setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Yardi experience is a plus
