Job Summary
We are seeking a TOP TIER Forklift/Box Clamp Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse. The ideal forklift operator will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including Hi-Lo and reach trucks, to facilitate the movement of materials and products within the warehouse. From break bulk sacks, palletized materials, metals and much more. The forklift operator role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA regulations and over 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues for repair.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety practices as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts, particularly Hi-Lo and reach trucks, in a distribution center or similar environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and shipments.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations related to heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment under minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Prior experience working with warehouse supervisors is a plus.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
