- Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience required.
- Strong understanding of insurance claims, denials, appeals, payment posting, accounts receivable management, and revenue cycle operations.
- Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Experience with physician and provider credentialing, enrollment, and revalidation processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to monitor billing performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily billing operations and revenue cycle processes.
- Monitor claim submission, payment posting, denials, and appeals.
- Review aging reports and work to resolve outstanding balances.
- Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and billing regulations.
- Manage and oversee physician and provider credentialing, payer enrollment, recredentialing.
- Coordinate provider enrollment with commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
- Assist with staff training and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with providers, practice management, and front-office teams to improve reimbursement and workflow efficiency.
- Analyze billing trends and recommend process improvements.
- Supervisory or management experience in a medical billing environment.
- Experience with allergy, asthma, ENT, or specialty practice billing.
- Knowledge of payer credentialing, contract management, and provider enrollment.
