Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support badge and sign-in processes when assigned, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.
• Complete routine documentation, maintain awareness of assigned areas, and assist with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
