This opportunity places a NICU-focused RN in a hospital setting on a travel assignment. The unit cares for very high acuity neonates, including patients from 22 weeks gestation and greater, requiring advanced therapies and intensive monitoring.

- Travel assignment in neonatal ICU; relocation may be required; no local candidates within 50 miles

Responsibilities
- Deliver NICU nursing care to very high acuity neonates from 22 weeks gestation and greater
- Monitor respiratory status and support ventilation, including conventional ventilation and high-frequency oscillation as needed
- Administer therapies such as total body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide, vasopressors, sedation, and continuous IV infusions
- Maintain central lines, manage IV therapies, and participate in neonatal resuscitation efforts
- Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and families; document care and rationale in the electronic health record
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and unit policies; assist with care transitions and family education

Requirements
- Active RN license in the appropriate state or eligibility for licensure by endorsement
- Neonatal ICU experience preferred; ability to care for very high acuity premature and newborn patients
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (12x3 schedule) in a travel assignment
- Willingness to commit to a 12-week assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week
- U.S. travel eligibility and readiness to relocate as needed
