Real Property Management Vesta is seeking a part-time Leasing Agent to work from our office in downtown Macon.
The Leasing Agent is responsible for direct interaction with prospective residents. The role touches the leasing process from introduction through occupancy, and is responsible for maintaining trust and communication from onboarding of the tenant through the duration of their tenancy.
The successful applicant will have a professional demeanor and will be ready to work in a fast-paced office setting. Duties will include the following:
- Receive and respond to prospect inquiries through email, text messages, and phone calls
- Schedule and conduct showings
- Follow up to solicit applications and answer questions from qualified prospects
- Use property management software to track apartment availability and record traffic
- Develops and implements marketing strategies to attract leads
- Stay informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the companies occupancy
- Ensures that the properties meet the Company's standards for show quality by frequently inspecting the units and common areas and communicating maintenance and upkeep needs to the Property Manager
- Place lockboxes and signage prior to listing
The successful applicant will have experience in customer facing roles and will have the ability to quickly learn new software applications with the proper training. Pay rate will be $15/hour with the opportunity to receive incentives based on leasing performance.
The Leasing Agent is highly organized with strong time management skills and an understanding of prioritization. Naturally driven to provide excellent customer service and to instill trust, the Leasing Agent is a natural communicator with good negotiation skills, the ability to work independently, and a professional demeanor.
