As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and reporting as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
+ Document observations and occurrences, completing detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
+ Communicate and collaborate with staff, patients, and visitors to provide assistance and information related to security-related matters.
+ Support Allied Universal and healthcare facility policies by maintaining a visible presence and addressing security-related issues promptly.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Vaccines required for hospital positions.
+ Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting required.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
+ Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
