Sr. Paralegal

Overview:

Senior Paralegal collaborates closely with attorneys and internal stakeholders to perform advanced legal and compliance-related tasks, including but not limited to immigration support, contract management, regulatory compliance, and system implementation. The Senior Paralegal is responsible for simultaneously supporting and managing legal matters across multiple MOBIS entities in the United States. This role requires strong multitasking abilities and coordination to ensure consistent and efficient legal operations throughout the organization. This p osition is located in the heart of Central Perimeter, Ravinia Drive, Atlanta, GA 30346.This job position will be within MOBIS Corporate Center America.

General Legal/Compliance Administration Duties

  • Coordinate and prepare immigration filings (e.g., L-1, E-2, etc.) in collaboration with internal and external counsel.
  • Track and provide notification of visa statuses, expiration dates, and compliance requirements for foreign national employees.
  • Monitor changes in business immigration legal requirements and informing counsel and relevant stakeholders of any such changes.
  • Support attorneys with contract management including reviewing, editing, tracking and archiving agreements.
  • Ensure contracts comply with internal standards and legal requirements, escalating issues to legal counsel when necessary.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory changes affecting MOBIS operations, including but not limited to labor, employment, trade, and data privacy laws.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain compliance checklists and training materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the design and rollout of legal support systems, including contract management platforms and compliance tracking tools (e.g., M365, SharePoint, or other IT platforms).
  • Serve as a liaison between legal departments of different MOBIS entities to ensure consistency in legal practices and documentation.
  • Support cross-border legal projects and coordinate with international counsel as needed.
  • Maintain centralized records and reporting for legal matters affecting multiple entities.
  • Provide general support to in house counsel on other matters as necessary.

Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, paralegal studies or related field
  • At least 10+ years preferred experience in related field.
  • Experience in immigration law and contract management is required.
  • Experience in compliance operation is preferred.
  • Experience in utilizing IT platform is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. immigration processes and employment-based visa categories.
  • Proficiency in contract reviewing, with attention to legal risk and business needs.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., FCPA, GDPR, labor and employment laws) and regulatory reporting.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally and to explain legal issues to all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Web-based Platforms (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across entities and jurisdictions with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally with legal, HR, and other operations teams.
  • Willing to collaborate, share knowledge, respond quickly to urgent matters, and execute proactively.
  • Ability to understand and embrace the company’s core values, corporate goals, mission, and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing facility and/or warehouse operations and regulations is a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Paralegal Certificate preferred

Working Conditions : Office setting, some walking within and between buildings, some traveling to Mobis entities in the U.S.
