Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Required Skills/Experience:Will you accept a first-time traveler? YesTrach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucomander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR NOT BPIV insertion and care, central line managementWound care and post op monitoringCardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretationCare coordination with interdisciplinary teams

Required Credentials:BCR (basic cardiac rhythm)

Preferred Credentials:National certification- Medical-surgical certification

Unit/Facility Details:Diverse population: typically includes patients who have had strokes and / or brain injuriesPatients with acute or chronic diseasePost-op surgeriesCo-morbidities common to med-surg population: diabetes, hypertension, infections, CHF, electrolytes imbalances

Shift & Scheduling:On Call, Call Back Requirements: NoneWeekend Rotation: 6 shifts on a 6 week schedule (6 out of 12 shifts)Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Floating Requirements:All med surg / telemetry units

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
