Summary:
The Manufacturing Team Leader is an expert in manufacturing activities such as processing and packaging of materials for production. This role is a hands-on position responsible for carrying out numerous manufacturing-related tasks associated with the management of developing formulating.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership to ensure that safety and company policies are adhered to consistently and effectively
- Prepares the production floor for daily production
- Monitors daily production and adjust production based on inventory
- Review production set-ups for accuracy and quality requirements
- Train/maintain training of team members in the process
- Assist in quality investigations
- Report issues/problems to immediate supervisor
- Conduct periodic audits of the processes
- Perform inventories as needed
- Ensure document control is being completed properly
- Communicate with other departments
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience Required:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Previous chemical formulation experience preferred but not required.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent organizational and leaderships abilities
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office
Language Skills:
- English required, bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Non-temperature-controlled warehouse, non-temperature-controlled production floor, temperature-controlled office.
