OFCI Project Development Engineer

We are recruiting an OFCI Project Development Engineer on behalf of a national energy and sustainability solutions company that provides integrated energy solutions to their customers in a broad range of industries.

As an OFCI Development Engineer , you will work to develop and support OFCI equipment projects. This role provides engineering and technical support to the business development process. You will work in a collaborative team environment alongside Sales, Manufacture Reps/Partners, Customers, Project Administration and Project Managers through the completion of assigned projects. Working hand in hand with functional and technical expertise, including presentation assistance, estimating, technical and financial analysis, etc. and supports the team integration between project development, sales, operations and any partner organizations.

The company's office is located in Northern Atlanta, GA.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the planning and development of a project’s development life cycle.
• Work with the sales team to develop and design product offerings to customers.
• Function as the primary interface between customer, vendors, and internal experts within the office and project administration.
• Work with manufactures/partners to acquire product proposals.
• Work with the sales team to estimate product cost and pricing estimate.
• Work with the sales team to produce a proposal for the end customer.
• File all project documents in proper storage locations.
• Receive customer P.O’s and transition the project files/information over to Project Administration.
• Perform manufacturing site visits for factory witness testing with customers.
• Perform construction site visits for product energization, startup and integrated system testing (IST).
• Evaluate the project development process at each stage to identify potential areas for improvement.
• Manage contract development changes in a timely and effectively manner.
• Assists the sales team preparing project material, in the presentation of findings, and customer options, and respond to customer questions.

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required.
• 3+ years of solution development experience with demonstrated ability to accurately communicate product solutions, estimate costs and customer proposals.
• Excellent business analysis capabilities
• Proven time management skills.
• High sense of urgency and expert level organizational skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage conflict and provide resolution.
• Excellent business analysis capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
