Salon Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Salon Manager to lead our brand-new Great Clips salon opening in April 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to build and inspire a team from the ground up while delivering exceptional customer service and driving salon performance. The ideal candidate is a licensed cosmetologist with strong leadership skills, a passion for developing stylists, and a commitment to creating a positive salon culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of stylists to achieve performance and customer service goals.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members.
- Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction.
- Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling and shift coverage.
- Monitor productivity, sales, and key performance indicators.
- Maintain compliance with company standards, policies, and state board regulations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Support marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts.
Requirements:
- Active Cosmetology or Barber license (required).
- Previous salon leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and retain a high-performing team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic computer proficiency.
