Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed weekly hours
• Friday-Sunday schedule with every other weekend requirement
• 1:4 patient ratio in a 12-bed unit
• 2 years minimum experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Epic and Pyxis systems experience preferred
• Care for adult to geriatric patient population with intermediate level monitoring
• Manage patients with dysrhythmias, CHF, acute onset stroke, Acute Coronary Syndrome, and Myocardial Ischemia
• All patients on hardwire telemetry self-monitored by RN
• Fast-paced environment focused on patient throughput and patient-centered care
• May float during low census periods
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• GA or Compact license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with 2-week pushback if not compliant
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
