Home Appliance Product Manager
Overview:
Responsible for driving the development, strategy, and lifecycle management of our home appliance product lines, includes REF/AC/cooking. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and manufacturing to ensure the successful launch and ongoing success of our appliances in the market. The one should have dynamic and results-oriented Marketing Manager to drive the strategic marketing initiatives for our core White Goods product portfolio. Be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that build brand awareness, generate demand, and achieve sales targets in a competitive market.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Market & Consumer Analysis:
- Conduct market research, analyze competitor activity, and leverage consumer insights to identify opportunities, refine product positioning, and inform marketing decisions.
- Use insights to inform product strategy and roadmap.
2. Develop & Execute Marketing Strategy:
- Create comprehensive Go-to-Market strategies for new product launches and existing product lines within the White Goods category, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with business goals and market opportunities.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and resource constraints.
3. Product Marketing:
- Develop compelling product messaging, value propositions, and sales enablement tools that clearly articulate features, benefits, and USPs.
4. Product Development:
- Initiate new product development based on roadmap planning.
- Lead cross-functional-teams engineering and design teams to define product requirements, user stories, and specifications.
- Prepare Business Case, including revenues, quantities, selling point, profitability, investment, ROI.
- Drive the development process from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
5. Launch and Go-to-Market:
- Develop go-to-market strategies and plans for new product launches.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to drive awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement activities.
6. Performance Monitoring:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of appliance products.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
7. Channel Marketing :
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Retail partners to develop effective channel-specific marketing programs, promotions, POS materials, and merchandising strategies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in product management in the home appliance Industry.
- Strong understanding of home appliance products, market dynamics, and consumer behavior.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Passion for innovation, technology, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
