Job Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in management/scheduling experience of 20+ employees.
• Minimum of five years in horticulture. Degree a plus, but not required.
• Category 24 pesticide certification is required along with proper knowledge of treatment, material applications, and management/schedule of Spray Tech. Any other green industry certifications are a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Excellent written and oral communication, time management, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• * Not Required but is a plus: Bilingual (Spanish).

Job description:

• Meet with and draft maintenance proposals for potential new clients and enhancement proposals for existing customers.
• Demonstrate skill and ability in the area of sales and customer service.
• Working knowledge of all associated machinery and trucks involved in landscape maintenance.
• Oversee and coordinate 6-8 maintenance crews, fleet maintenance, equipment, etc. to ensure jobs and crews meet the quality standards of Michael Jackson Landscape Company.
• Oversee crew scheduling and training to ensure proper equipment operation, landscape techniques, safety, and quality standards.
• Routinely inspect properties and proactively troubleshoot potential problem areas: such as plant health, landscape enhancements, etc.
• Address client/partner questions, comments, or concerns.
• Responsible for communication with the Vice President and Install Manager.
