Manual Machinist

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Operate Machinery in a Metal Fabrication Environment
• Machine Parts From Supplied Shop Drawings

Experience requirements:

• Min 2 years as experienced machinist

Desired Skills:

• Must have the ability to operate manual machines (CNC, manual lathes, drilling, manual milling, presses (brake), etc..)
• Demonstrated ability to strategically select and operate the appropriate manual machinery to complete multi-stage fabrications from shop drawings
• Familiar with Measuring Tools Such as Calipers, Micrometers, etc…
• Ability to Interpret Shop Drawings
• strong Documentation Skills

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• Blueprint Reading (1 year of experience is required)
• Machine Operating (2 years of experience is required)
