Accountants One is working with a large, privately held company in the Metro Atlanta area, looking for their next Senior Accounting Manager. This person will work with the Assistant Controller and Controller. This person will have full P&L responsibilities and supervise a team. The company offers a hybrid work schedule along with an amazing company culture.

The Senior Accounting Manager will handle the following

• Handle timely financial statements, prepare and review journal entries, and adhere to GAAP compliance for the different locations
• In charge of all account reconciliations for the different locations
• Responsible for internal controls and processes to ensure compliance
• Annual audit paperwork
• Involved with purchase accounting, systems implementations, and integrations
• Establish any process improvements to drive efficiencies
• Assist with developing and mentoring the team
• Keeping up with any new accounting standards
• Special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Masters highly desired
• A CPA is an absolute must-have for the role
• 12+ years of experience
• Must have a blend of public accounting = Big 4 or Second Tier, and industry experience
• Must have a clear Understanding of P&L responsibilities
• Must have strong ERP systems experience, such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, and any type of reporting tool
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Inventory accounting
• M&A, Lease Accounting, Revenue recognition
• Supervisory experience with good leadership skills and mentorship
