The Fork Lift Reach Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of warehouse and logistics activities. This individual is responsible for the safe and effective handling of materials, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams, the operator follows strict safety standards and performs daily equipment inspections to support smooth operations during standard and overtime shifts.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
- Handle materials with care to avoid damage
- Manage inventory by accurately tracking and organizing stock
- Comply with all warehouse safety regulations and protocols
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and functionality
- Stack materials securely to optimize space and accessibility
- Fulfill orders efficiently and accurately
- Report operational issues and incidents promptly to supervisors
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience
- Proficient in forklift operation and material handling
- Knowledgeable in warehouse safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid forklift operator certification
