Language-Enabled Journeyman Geolocation Operator

Geo Owl is seeking qualified candidates to fill multiple Language-Enabled, Journeyman-level Geolocation Operator positions located in Augusta, GA. The ideal candidates will possess both technical certifications in geolocation operations and demonstrative foreign language proficiency, providing direct mission support and mentorship for a 24/7, 365-day workforce .

Position Description

The Language-Enabled Journeyman Geolocation Operator will engage in direct, on-site, real-time operations utilizing certified skills and knowledge in passive geolocation methodologies and foreign language processing for real-world SIGINT missions. Operators will also be responsible for mentoring less experienced teammates and contributing to the improvement of training resources. This position may require rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct geolocation operations using passive methodologies in support of real-time SIGINT missions.

  • Apply foreign language skills to interpret, translate, or analyze intelligence materials.

  • Mentor junior operators and support proficiency development.

  • Contribute to tradecraft enhancement and the development of training resources.

  • Maintain current certifications in geolocation methods and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Current certifications in basic operations and passive geolocation methods/technologies.

  • ILR Level-2 proficiency in one or more relevant foreign languages.

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in language processing (interpretation, translation, gisting, document analysis, teaching, or related intelligence functions).

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph .

  • Current or previous experience conducting advanced geolocation operations in a multi-technology, foreign-language environment.

  • Ability and willingness to obtain increasingly complex geolocation and language competencies.

  • Levantine, Yemeni, Iraqi, Maghrabi, Farsi, Pashto, Russian, Chechen, Somali.
