Lindsay Pope Brayfield & Associates (LPB), a 50+ year old Architectural/Engineering firm, is looking for a full time Structural Engineer for our Lawrenceville, GA office. Qualified candidates shall be self-motivated and possess a high level of technical skill who can work in an A/E office environment with cross coordination between all internal disciplines (Architectural, MEP, Interior Design).
Responsibilities:Perform structural calculations for client review and permitting.
Coordinate with other engineers and architects.
Develop structural designs and details from initial concept to final Construction Documents.
Well versed in building codes and construction.
Construction administration duties including review of shop drawings, responding to RFI’s and construction sit observations. Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience
BS in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or MS in Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Experience in the analysis and design of structural steel and reinforced-concrete buildings is required.
Experience in the design of post-tensioned concrete structures and other multi-story building types, not required, but would be a plus.
* Pay is commensurate with experience
Skill sets:Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, RAM Elements, Enercalc, RAM Structural Systems, and RAM Concept and Bluebeam.
Excellent communication skills with Architects, Engineers, and Owners.
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
Must be able to manage time and stay on task. Benefits:
