We are looking for a motivated Nurse Practitioner who is experienced in orthopedics/musculoskeletal issues to join our medical practice in Jonesboro, GA. Our ideal NP is comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain. Job duties include performing trigger point and joint injections. We have 2 locations that need coverage, Jonesboro, and McDonough, 15 miles apart. Our preference is to have one full-time NP who can split coverage between the two locations or 1 NP part-time for each location.

Duties:
-Patient exam/evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records/imaging)
-Order and review tests/labs (MRIs, NCVs, etc)
-Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
-Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
-Manage patient care
-Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections
-Prescribe physical therapy and/or chiropractic care as needed
-Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
-Documentation and progress notes - daily, timely and accurate
-Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements:
-Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program
-NP license in GA
-Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is preferred
-Experience with trigger point and joint injections a plus

Schedule:
-Full time
-Monday - Friday with Fri hrs ending at 1

Compensation:
-120k to 130k (DOE)

Benefits:
-Signing bonus- negotiable
-Vacation/2 weeks PTO plus 7 paid holidays

-½ day on Friday
