Product Management Specialist
Job Title: Product Management Specialist
Location-Type: On-Site in Chatsworth
Start Date Is: ASAP
Duration: 6 Month Contract
Compensation Range: $30-35/hr W2
Job Description:
This role supports end-to-end SKU lifecycle management and custom sample request processing, ensuring timely order fulfillment and cross-functional alignment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage intake and processing of custom sample requests across product lines
- Oversee SKU lifecycle, including setup, tracking, and order entry through completion
- Coordinate order entry and expedite sample-related requests
- Maintain and update tracking systems (e.g., spreadsheets/Smartsheet) and provide reporting
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to ensure timely updates and resolution
- Partner with internal teams (product, production, quality) to resolve product/sample issues
- Build relationships with sales teams and internal stakeholders
- Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives as assigned
Requirements:
- Must-Haves:
- 5 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or product coordination
- Experience managing projects or workflows from intake through completion
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with tracking/reporting tools (e.g., Smartsheet or similar)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests simultaneously
- Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in flooring, building products, or related industry
- Background in SKU lifecycle management or master data processes
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations teams
