The Lead Therapist (Licensed) opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Clinical Services Team who will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Lead Therapist is r esponsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community .

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• assisting law enforcement, family members and others during treatment, both voluntary and involuntary.
• referrals to community resources as appropriate.
• functioning as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participate in the community relations program of the organization.
• participates in continuous performance improvement activities of clinical services.
• communicating with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.
• lead therapist will also be responsible for taking the role and responsibilities of the Director of Clinical Services as necessary.
• creating and implementing programming schedules, providing clinical supervision to interns, and oversee groups
• ensuring that clinical services is in compliance with all regulatory standards
• ensuring validity of psychosocial assessments, active treatment, and discharge planning
• ensuring therapeutic Treatment Plans are in accordance with regulations and within required time frames
• representing Social Services department in interdepartmental meetings and facilitating open communication between Social Services and other departments
• assist with coordination of partial hospitalization and outpatient programs

Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.

Licensure required. (LAPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, etc)

3 to 5 years’ experience in mental health required.
