Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Painter to join our team in Columbus, GA. This is a full-time position for a skilled professional with experience in both interior and exterior painting.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting (scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, priming)
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking materials
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, and basic painting equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
- Proven experience in interior and exterior painting (required)
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders
- Strong attention to detail
- $16 per hour
- Full-time hours (Monday–Friday, some weekends as needed)
- Steady, year-round work
