Outside Sales Representative
Compensation: $100,000–$120,000 Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Sales Specialist to drive growth across specialty chemical products, with a focus on para-aramid materials, yarns, fabrics, and composites. This role targets key industries including defense, aerospace, automotive, and advanced industrial sectors.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business and manage existing accounts (50/50 split)
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Expand relationships with key industrial customers
- Provide sales forecasts and market insights
- Track activity, pipeline, and territory performance
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing
- Represent the organization at industry events
- 3+ years of sales or business development experience in specialty chemicals or advanced materials
- Experience selling into defense, aerospace, automotive, or industrial markets preferred
- Strong pipeline management and new business development skills
- Analytical mindset with market intelligence capabilities
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel
- Schedule: Onsite when not in the field (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Travel: ~50% local / 50% national
- Mileage reimbursement and a company laptop provided
