Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Work 2 major and 2 minor holidays
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and RN License
• IV Heparin administration experience required
• Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Partner with patients and families using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities
• Serve as preceptor/mentor for other nurses and staff
• Plan for patient care across the care continuum
• Associates in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required, Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
