Currently, Alliant seeks a Full-Stack Developer to learn and understand existing Web Applications and Oracle PL/SQL scripts, automation architecture, develops, tests, implements, and maintains IT automation jobs for various on-prem and Azure cloud hosted web applications/systems connected to Oracle database. Formulates and defines scope and objectives through research missing aspects of moderately complex jobs. Create, modify and maintain detailed specifications of existing and new automation processes. Create daily dashboard to overview and drill down to see details of process status.

In this role, the ideal candidate will:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework, and related technologies

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices

• Collaborate with the Application Development Director and Chief Technology Officer as well as offshore team to deliver high-quality software improvements to existing applications

• Implement APIs, integrations, and web services to enable seamless system communication

• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues effectively

• Maintain and enhance existing software by analyzing and improving functionality

• Collaborates and works with developers to validate and deploy Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procs, functions, and scheduled tasks and jobs using requirements from internal IT team or from designated business users

• Develops and maintains all interface documentation and artifacts, including XSD and XML related documentation and schemas

• Identifies process improvements and updates to existing queries, stored procedures, packages, and interfaces proactively, and works with internal IT staff to identify best approaches for testing and implementing those changes.

• Supports operations during non-work hours as needed. May require after hours and weekend support activities

• Revise, refine and reconfigure processes as required according to defined standards to ensure quality solutions

• Work on multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously. Reports status on progress, as well as obstacles or barriers encountered

Knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Knowledge, skill and ability in C# and the .NET Framework

• Knowledge, skill and ability with ASP.NET/MVC, Web API, and RESTful services

• Knowledge and ability to apply understanding of Object-Oriented Design – code reusability concepts

• Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server or T-SQL, including query optimization

• Knowledge, skill and ability in front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap with jQuery

• Knowledge, skill, and ability in Azure application hosting

• Knowledge skill and ability to problem solve and attention to detail

• Knowledge of team skills and best methods to work on development team

• Knowledge of Source Control within frontend code and backend Oracle database

• Knowledge, skill, and ability to process automation methods and techniques using various scripting languages and deployments

• Ability to work independently, manage time and organize work

• Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers

• Ability to travel by car or airplane to customer and Company meetings as needed.

Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• 1-5+ years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, or programmer

• Up to 5 years of experience in applications development

• Up to 5 years’ experience in proactively working with backend database, e.g., Oracle or SQL Server

• Experience with Automation software like ActiveBatch or similar is preferred

• Some experience with developing XML interfaces is preferred
