Technical Lead (Sandy Springs)

Technical Lead, IBM Corporation, Sandy Springs, GA (40% telecommuting permitted): Act as a single point of contact for all the client requirements and external third-party clients and update the company and the clients stakeholders. Lead technical project activities by collaborating with the delivery teams in US and India in providing smarter technical solutions for production issues, ongoing maintenance activities, resolving any production defects within SLA and minor enhancements by following process defined by the client. Collaborate with the clients business to understand client's healthcare process compliances, attend healthcare audits, find any blockers/repetitive defects in applications and formulate permanent solution approaches for improving/enhancing performances of health insurance billing, payment, benefits and claim processing applications in the clients health insurance framework. Lead SWAT calls for all the outages (high priority incidents) and restore ACES (CT membership & claim adjudication) suite of applications. Make timely communication and escalation of system availability issues to the clients business thereby minimizing the business impact. Lead the team technically to provide after-release support for the project implemented/deployed into production. Analyze gaps in existing system as well as opportunities for improvement. Propose an emergency fix and resolve the issue in case of any critical impacts/defects. Participate in upgrades for the internal products and services supporting the client. Utilize: COBOL, JCL, IMSDB, DB2, TERADATA. Required: Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Technical Lead or related.
