Job Details – Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Travel Contract)

• Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Locum Tenens
• Location: Rockingham, NC 28379 (includes one day/week at Montgomery, NC)
• Employment Type: Locum tenens, travel healthcare job
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (September 29, 2025 – December 29, 2025)
• Schedule: Day shifts, 3x8-hour shifts/week (07:00 – 15:30)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2550–$2610
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Imaging Department
• Split Coverage: Thursdays and Fridays at FirstHealth Richmond; one day/week at FirstHealth Montgomery

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications

• Active NMTCB Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Radiology or Cardiology certification preferred
• Must not reside in Richmond or Moore County, North Carolina
• Pending state license applications accepted
• Pre-employment drug screening required upon arrival

Key Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established clinical protocols
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Accurately document and report imaging results in the electronic medical record
• Float between FirstHealth Richmond and FirstHealth Montgomery hospital locations as scheduled
• Complete required training modules prior to orientation (hours vary by specialty)
