Inventory Control - Cycle Counter
- Cycle Counting: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly physical cycle counts of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods according to schedule.
- Discrepancy Investigation: Audit count variances between physical stock and the Warehouse Management System (WMS/ERP); perform root-cause analysis for discrepancies.
- System Updates: Input accurate count data, stock adjustments, and inventory transfers into the WMS/ERP system in a timely manner.
- Location Audits: Verify item locations, stock labeling, unit-of-measure (UOM) consistency, and product status (e.g., damaged, hold, available).
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with warehouse leadership to identify stock handling issues, shrink causes, or process gaps, recommending preventative solutions.
- Safety & Compliance: Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., cherry pickers, forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks) following all OSHA and company safety standards.
- Reconciliation: Assist with annual or semi-annual full physical inventory counts as needed. Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations.
- Technical Skills: Experience using WMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Manhattan, or similar) and handheld barcode scanners (RF units).
- Math & Analytical Skills: basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions) with high attention to detail.
- Equipment Certification: Experience operating material handling equipment (Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack) preferred; certification required or obtainable upon hire.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours), lift up to 50 lbs comfortably, and work at elevated heights if required.
