MIG Welder (Milner)

TRC Talent Solution is looking for MIG Welder for our client in Milner, GA

Summary:

Welders will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. The welder operator is responsible for setting-up, operating, and performing work with a welding machine to fabricate numerous metal parts and components according to product specifications and preprogramed machine control instructions. This position ensures that raw materials are correctly loaded into fixtures/jigs for welding and utilizes the welding equipment to manufacture welded components while meeting a defined production schedule. The welding operator will also verify product quality by using inspection and measuring equipment like gauges, micrometers, and rulers.

Job Details:

• Pay: $18.00-25.00/hr.
• Shifts Available:
  • 1stshifts (M-F 6a-4:30p)
  • 2ndshift (M-F 4:30p-3a)
  • Weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun 6a-6p)

Job Responsibilities:

• Setup, adjust and operate welding machines.
• Set welding jigs according to specific instructions.
• Occasionally grind or spot weld parts.
• Inspecting finished parts for quality.
• Must be willing to rotate to different workstations as production.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Read measuring devices.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Must be able to stand up to 10-12 hours a day.
• Constantly lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Identify and document problems, set goals, track progress, and collaborate with team to implement solutions.
• Report Issues and concerns to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Basic understanding of Quality Management System standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Weld and fabricate finished metal products.
• Operate angle grinders, band saw, and drill press to prepare the parts that must be welded.
• Follow and meet product specifications.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.

Experience Level: 2 years of MIG experience min.
