Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients on Med-Surg and telemetry units with 20-36 beds.
• Manage care for patients with a variety of inpatient medical-surgical and telemetry diagnoses.
• Perform tracheostomy care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and glucometer use.
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips, including insulin and heparin drips, ensuring proficiency with drips oriented to heart rate rather than blood pressure.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, charge nurses, and specialists to maintain high standards of patient care.
• Float flexibly across Med/Tele units as part of the facilitys float pool, adapting to diverse patient needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med-Surg and telemetry preferred.
• Active RN license with BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to pass EKG competency testing during onboarding.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system and equipment such as Alaris IV pumps and Phillips monitors is advantageous.
• Certification in Medical-Surgical nursing is a plus but not mandatory.

• Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:4-6, supported by LPNs and CNAs.
