As the Legal Assistant in Family Law, you will provide essential support to an attorney handling case related to divorce, child custody, support, and other domestic matters. You will handle administrative tasks, manage client communication, prepare legal documents, and assist with trial preparation. You will play a crucial role in the efficient functioning of the family law practice.

Key Qualities & Attributes

The ideal candidate must:

• Demonstrate strong administrative and organizational skills
• Type at least 60 words per minute with high accuracy
• Show a history of job stability and reliability
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office , especially Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
• Be able to multitask , shift priorities quickly, and solve problems independently
• Exhibit a positive attitude , professionalism, and courtesy
• Possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Use proper grammar and written communication
• Be confident and assertive when necessary , while remaining respectful

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience or exposure to family law
• Familiarity with social media platforms
• Notary Public certification
