Travel Registered Nurse Electrophysiology Job
Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP Lab) is a travel assignment in Cumming, GA, starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,367–$2,495 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. - Provide direct patient care to clients undergoing EP studies, ablations, and related procedures within the EP lab and special procedures area.
- Monitor vital signs, telemetry, and electrophysiology data during peri-procedural phases; respond to changes in patient status.
- Assist physicians with EP procedures, catheter insertions, device placement, and support during study tests; maintain sterile technique and prepare all required equipment.
- Administer prescribed medications per protocol; manage sedation and analgesia in collaboration with the procedural team.
- Document all aspects of nursing care, patient education, and post-procedure recovery processes; ensure accurate charting and handoffs.
- Collaborate with electrophysiology physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff to promote patient safety and optimize outcomes.
- Ensure readiness and proper function of EP lab equipment; participate in equipment checks and infection control practices.
- Adhere to BLS and ACLS standards; participate in the unit’s on-going quality improvement and safety initiatives. Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia (or eligible for licensure in Georgia); current, valid credentials required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology or EP Lab/Special Procedures nursing.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of assignment.
- Ability to work in an EP lab and inpatient care setting; comfortable with 10-hour day shifts and travel requirements for a 13-week assignment.
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment; relocation or travel required.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary EP team. Benefits and Support
