Program Overview:

River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking experienced Mental Health Therapists to provide behavioral health services within local schools through the Georgia APEX Program . In this role, you will serve children aged 5 and up in elementary, middle, and high schools across Putnam and Baldwin counties. This is an exciting opportunity to build extensive clinical experience with a wide range of behavioral health conditions in a supportive, professional environment at a nationally recognized and growing program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and family therapy for youth with mental health and/or substance use disorders in school settings, clinics, or via telehealth.
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and obtain necessary service authorizations.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Rehabilitation Counseling.
• Eligibility for associate licensure (LAPC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, or LAMFT/LMFT) is required; licensure pursuit must begin upon hire.
• Associate or full clinical licensure preferred (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/APC, LMFT/LAMFT).
