Position Overview:

As an Invoice Processing Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing all invoices received by the company. This includes verifying the accuracy of invoices, ensuring proper coding and approvals, and timely payment to vendors. You will work closely with the accounting team to ensure all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receive and review all incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness

- Verify coding and approvals for each invoice

- Enter invoices into the company's accounting system

- Communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices

- Prepare and process payments to vendors

- Maintain accurate and organized records of all invoices and payments

- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

- Assist with month-end closing and reporting as needed

- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and procedures related to invoice processing

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
