Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and team management, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, with a focus on training development and adherence to food safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff during shifts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage daily operations of the hotel or bar, including overseeing food and beverage service.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and improve service quality.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
- Assist in budgeting and inventory management to optimize operational costs.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a positive guest experience.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience at another pizza establishment, or 2+ years of experience in a similar role from any other recognized hospitality brand.
- ServeSafe Certification is required.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in training development and team management is essential.
- Familiarity with inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
