Transmission Engineer
A nationally recognized engineering and consulting organization is seeking Transmission Line Engineer to support the design and development of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects throughout the Southeast.

What You'll Be Doing:
Engineering & Design:
- Lead and support engineering activities for large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
- Develop technical designs, calculations, reports, and construction documentation.
- Perform engineering analysis and design optimization.
- Prepare project specifications, technical standards, and cost estimates.
- Support constructability reviews and field implementation efforts.
Project Execution:
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and engineering teams.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling, and quality reviews.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction.
- Assist with technical problem-solving and design modifications.
Technical Leadership:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Participate in design reviews and quality assurance initiatives.
- Support the development of engineering standards and best practices.
- Serve as a technical resource for project teams and clients.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of engineering experience supporting utility, energy, power, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred:
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
- Experience supporting high-voltage utility or energy infrastructure projects.
- Experience utilizing engineering design and modeling software.
- Technical leadership or project review experience.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $114,000–$151,000.
