Transmission Engineer

What You'll Be Doing:

Engineering & Design:

• Lead and support engineering activities for large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
• Develop technical designs, calculations, reports, and construction documentation.
• Perform engineering analysis and design optimization.
• Prepare project specifications, technical standards, and cost estimates.
• Support constructability reviews and field implementation efforts.

Project Execution:

• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and engineering teams.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and quality reviews.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction.
• Assist with technical problem-solving and design modifications.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in design reviews and quality assurance initiatives.
• Support the development of engineering standards and best practices.
• Serve as a technical resource for project teams and clients.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 3+ years of engineering experience supporting utility, energy, power, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
• Experience supporting high-voltage utility or energy infrastructure projects.
• Experience utilizing engineering design and modeling software.
• Technical leadership or project review experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $114,000–$151,000.
