Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia, starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,185–$2,271 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 8x5 Days. Work setting: acute care department within a hospital. Key Highlights

- Perform OT evaluations for acute care inpatients and develop treatment plans aligned to physician orders and patient goals
- Deliver therapy interventions across a broad range of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurology, orthopedics, and general debility
- Document progress and daily treatment notes in the Cerner charting system; communicate updates to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care professionals to support discharge planning and optimize outcomes
- Ensure patient safety, functional independence, and evidence-based practice across the rehabilitation continuum
- Adapt plans as needed based on patient progress, tolerances, and changing clinical status Requirements
- GA licensed Occupational Therapist
- AHA BLS certification
- 15–18 months of recent OT experience within the specialty
- Proficiency with Cerner charting system
- Ability to work in an acute care setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Eligibility for travel assignment and compliance with assignment-specific schedule requirements Benefits and Support
