Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Neurology
Description
This contract position is on-site and offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment within the staffing and recruiting industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of neurological conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in neurology
- Participate in case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding neurological conditions
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Neurology preferred
- Experience in a clinical setting as a Neurologist
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in neurology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Current medical license to practice in the state of practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Patient Volume: 15-18 per day
Duties: New patients, follow-ups, EMGs, EEGs, and admin
Epilepsy experience preferred
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
