Social Worker, Non-Licensed School Based Therapist

Georgia Pines GAP Program is currently seeking Masters Level (Licensed and Non-Licensed) Mental Health Therapists to provide services in our School based Mental Health Program. Provides persons, families or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient educationand counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services. Completes bio-psychosocialassessments, collaborates with consumers to complete individualized treatment plans, conducts individual, group, and familytherapy sessions, makes appropriate referrals for needed services, and responsible for pursuing licensure. Minimum Qualifications: Position requires a master's degree in a Social Service field and license eligibility in the State of Georgia as anLMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Georgia Pines Behavioral Health Crisis Center Programis currently seekingsomeone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peersto continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization. The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providinga broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families. In addition,with conductingpatient/client/consumer intakes, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Additionally, the applicant mayassistin dealing with personal and social problems. Select applicant may provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services and perform case management duties.
