Content Manager - Splunk
Location: Fayetteville, NC (on-site)
Position Summary: SOFtact Solutions is seeking a Splunk Content Manager to join our team to help build advanced Splunk visualizations and integrate contextual data into actionable visualizations based on customer requirements and insights. Create and manage Splunk content to help teams derive maximum value from the enterprise analytics platform. The Splunk Content Manager will oversee the development, organization, and optimization of dashboards, alerts, and reports to support data-driven decision-making. This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
- Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks
- Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems
- Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
- Discover and gather data to transform customer requirements into meaningful visualizations and content within the Splunk deployment
- Build advanced Splunk visualizations and integrate contextual data into actionable visualizations based on customer requirements and insights
- Create and manage Splunk content to help teams derive maximum value from the enterprise analytics platform
- Work with customer to make changes to Splunk visualizations, content, dashboards, and products to accommodate shifting customer requirements
- Manage Splunk knowledge objects such as dashboards, interactive content, and interactions
- Build Splunk dashboards highlighting data anomalies and key trends
- Brief created content to customer leadership highlighting trends, impact, and relevancy of the data being presented and visualized
- Maximize efficiency of customer Splunk searches and reports when requested; and provide support to meet growth needs while maintaining performance, stability, scalability, and agility balance
- Your primary work location will be Fort Bragg, NC, with travel as required, and locations as directed by senior management from STS
Qualifications and Education
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, project management, or a related field
- Design and develop solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with leadership
- Perform systems management and integration functions
- Capability to align program objectives with the organization's strategic goals
- Proficiency in resolving complex problems and adapting to changing circumstances
Required Skills
- DoD 8570 Certification at the IAT Level II
- 2 years of hands-on Splunk Enterprise Core experience, specifically creating robust visualizations, dashboards, and tailor content
- Splunk Core Certified Power User
- Strong Splunk knowledge, skills, and understanding of Splunk Enterprise Core
- Strong dynamic Splunk content design creation skills
- Excellent written, verbal and listening skills

- Ability to research, analyze, and recommend best practices

Preferred Skills
- Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin
- DoD 8570 Certification in the IAT Level III

Clearance:
- Top Secret; with eligibility to obtain SCI (Applicants will be subject to security investigations and will have to meet eligibility requirements for classified information)
