Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized nursing care in a progressive care unit (PCU) setting for patients being boarded in the emergency department. This travel position requires an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) skilled in stepdown care, ready for an immediate start within the Pooler, GA area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to PCU patients in the emergency room setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant nursing experience.
- Completion of at least one previous travel nursing assignment.
- References from recent travel assignments to verify experience and professionalism.
