Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized step-down nursing care for patients in the progressive care unit (PCU) setting, focusing on individuals boarded in the emergency room. Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to step-down patients requiring close monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in compliance with clinical protocols
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including physicians and ancillary staff
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication of patient status and changes
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies in the ER setting

Qualifications:

• Current active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care or step-down nursing experience
• Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment with positive references
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
