Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years NICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with NICU expertise to provide specialized care in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This contract position is based in Woodstock, GA, and offers a unique chance to work in a high-acuity Special Care Nursery dedicated to neonates with complex medical and surgical needs.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
- Varied shifts over a 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates admitted from in-house births and select transfers
- Utilize advanced technologies including ophthalmic imaging systems, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes to monitor patient status
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all protocols in a Level III NICU environment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in NICU or related neonatal specialty
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required
- Skilled in using specialized neonatal equipment and technology
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, intensive care setting with critical cases

This position requires candidates willing to travel or relocate since local applicants within 50 miles are not available. The role is structured as a 13-week contract assignment.
