Job Description:

The Warranty Administrator/Booker is responsible for completing the repair order after technicians have completed the repairs by obtaining labor op codes and times for advisors to collect form customers or submission for warranty payment. Submitting claims to the manufacturer, fleet companies, or warranty companies in a timely manner. Reconcile schedules for claims needing to be submitted and payment status of submitted claims.

Job Duties:

• Flag the technicians for the hours earned on the service they performed
• Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy and legibility according to the policies and procedures
• Check each repair order against the vehicles service history to avoid duplicate claims
• Conduct weekly audits of warranty and schedules, reviewing all old claims, and address any adjustments or write-offs
• Assist service consultants and technicians with any warranty questions
• Assist with special projects, audits and reports as requested
• Review and manage all aging schedules and reports
• Attend warranty training courses as needed

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• General knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle mechanical operations
• Two years of experience in an automotive dealership, GM Preferred
• Must have clear Driving Record
• Must pass pre-employment Drug Screening
