HEARTH PIZZA TAVERN IN SANDY SPRINGS is Looking for Server Assistants!

Hearth Pizza Tavern is a unique dining experience. We offer fresh, oven-fired pizzas along with a wide selection of beers, wines, and spirits. Our food is made fresh in-house, including our homemade dough, cheeses, and toppings. With top-quality food and a welcoming tavern atmosphere, our guests enjoy what we like to call “Hearth-Fired Happiness.”

Pay: $8.00 per hour plus tips!

Availability: Weekend Availability is a Must!

The Server Assistant is responsible for supporting the waitstaff and ensuring an amazing dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate is someone who is a hard worker, a self-starter, maintains a strong work ethic, and possesses the intangibles we are looking for - helpful, kind, fun to be around, and guest-obsessed. Job Duties and Responsibilities (can include but not limited to):

• Follow the 10 Steps of Customer Service.
• Assist servers and bartenders in their tasks.
• Help with drink refills and other guests’ requests. Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Ensure all service stations are clean, stocked, and ready for service.
• Remove dirty dishes from the table/bar area; bring them to the dishwashing area.
• Expediting food and carrying food to tables using the correct seat position.
• Set tables with silverware, glassware, and other items.
• Polish silverware before, during, and after the shift. Help with other assigned side duties.
• Keep the dining and bar areas clean and free of spills.
• Restock the server and drink stations with ice, coffee, teas, and other supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and collect trash and debris from all dining areas or other specified areas as needed.
• Keep ice bins filled.
• Restroom checks.
• Help with dirty dish bins. Carry to the dish area when needed.
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Follow the company Alcohol Awareness Policy.
• Perform opening, running, and closing side work assignments
• Attend and participate in ongoing training sessions, read shift notes, and attend shift meetings
• Adhere to company policies and standards
