Registered Nurse – Perioperative opportunity in Cumming, Georgia. Travel assignment in a hospital setting for the Acute GI Med Unit – RN Peri Op, starting 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for adult patients undergoing GI procedures
- Conduct preoperative assessments, verify patient data, and ensure informed consent is documented
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and support postoperative care as assigned
- Maintain sterile technique, assist the surgical team, and manage equipment and supplies
- Administer medications and fluids as ordered; document vitals and care actions
- Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical team, and unit staff to ensure patient safety and smooth transitions

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in perioperative or related specialty
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 12x3 schedule (0700–1930)
- Willingness to travel for a 13-week assignment
- No local candidates within 50 miles
