Who We Need:

We are searching for a Technical Operations Analyst to join the team on an ongoing contract basis (20-40 hr/wk, no scheduled end date). This position sits on our IT Operations team and will work closely with Engineering, QA, and InfoSec.

What You’ll Do:

Tier-3 Support & Incident Response

• Respond to complex infrastructure and service issues escalated from Tier-1/2 support.
• Perform root cause analysis, maintain incident documentation, and support platform observability through tuning logs, metrics, and alerts.
• Collaborate with engineering to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects in staging environments.

Infrastructure & Reliability Engineering

• Design and implement improvements across the platform using Terraform and Azure-native services.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines built in Azure DevOps, automate recurring tasks, and contribute to infrastructure as code to support scalability, maintainability, and security.

Platform Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Lead or support projects aimed at increasing platform performance, reliability, or cost efficiency.
• Participate in planned upgrades, service migrations, and system hardening efforts.
• Identify and reduce operational toil through tooling and automation.

Security, Documentation, and Collaboration

• Monitor for unusual activity, enforce security best practices, and ensure compliance with operational policies.
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
• Work closely with Dev, QA, and Security teams to align changes with business and technical goals.

As a Technical Operations Analyst, you have:

• A deep understanding of Microsoft Azure
• A high level of proficiency with Azure DevOps
• A high level of proficiency with Terraform
• The ability to design, enhance, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
• Strong skills in incident response, problem isolation, and post-incident reviews, including the development of remediation plans
• Microsoft certified Azure Solutions Architect preferred, but not required
