What we need:

Mohawk is looking for an Inventory Planning Analyst (II) who can do more for Mohawk.

By coordinating material and production requirements, this position will be responsible for ensuring company production goals are met. The Inventory Planning Analyst will also follow standard procedures and help to resolve questions and problems that may arise.

What you'll do:

  • Manage aged and impaired inventory levels of RAWs, WIP, and Finished Goods
  • Determine best avenue for disposal of impaired inventories (Convert or Sell) and manage process to completion
  • Develop key metrics and dashboards to decrease impaired inventory charges
  • Audit yarn inventory min/max levels
  • Audit sample and FAS plans to minimize inventory
  • Develop and audit inventory control reports within the planning group to ensure excess inventory is not created
  • Determines the appropriate inventory quantities required to meet operational demand. Plans and orders the necessary amount of materials to be used in processing to facilitate continuous, even production across all assigned departments. Releases orders, expedites, or modifies material requisitions as needed.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules daily to ensure order fulfillment. Work with each analyst to ensure all stock loads meet weekly scheduling demands.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management (Operations, Business), Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent training and experience which will provide knowledge of inventory requirements, and planning constraints
  • Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes
  • Knowledge of company brands and product specifications
  • Ability to create excel worksheets pivot tables, vlookup, sumif, countif, functions
  • Knowledge and ability to download Sequel and CAMS data tables
